When traveling to Augusta for the Masters, you will need a place to sleep. Augusta has some very nice hotels that you can book for your stay.
St. Lucia Golf Resort
If you are an avid golfer or fan, you want to put St. Lucia Golf and Country Club on your bucket list. This beautiful resort is on the northern tip of St. Lucia and it is the most gorgeous place on earth. The club has state of the art facilities and a golf academy.
This golf course hosts international tournaments here as well. The course was built in 1965 on St. Lucia and welcomes visitors daily. It has 18 holes and is rated 72.4. It is a great course for new and casual golfers.
St. Lucia is naturally hilly and is a unique challenge on every hole. The golf course is lined with casuarina trees and golfers have a scenic view of what St. Lucia Golf Resort has to offer.
The golf course charges $120 for 18 holes and $95 for nine holes. You can rent clubs for $23 and up. Shoes are $7 if you forgot yours. You can also get lessons with a pro starting at $57.50 for 40 minutes.
There is a strict dress code there as well. Proper golfing attire must be worn. Those include a collared shirt and spikes. St. Lucia offers hotels and villas for rental as well.

Hilton Hotels and Resorts have several hotels in and around the Augusta area. Some spectators choose to stay a few minutes out of Augusta for a better deal and a guaranteed place to stay. The Hilton Garden Inn Augusta is located near the interstate and it is 4.6 miles from the course. These rooms are a little expensive based on the location.
However, there are other hotels on the outskirts of Augusta that are by Hilton as well. One suggestion is the Hampton Inn & Suites. This hotel is about 8 miles from the course and is much cheaper for the room.
Sheraton Augusta Hotel
The Sheraton Augusta Hotel is a 3-minute drive from the Augusta National Golf Club, and a 7-minute drive to Augusta State University. The Sheraton has an indoor pool, outdoor pool, and a 24-hour fitness center. They offer free breakfast, Wi-Fi, and parking.
This hotel has 152 rooms that are equipped with air conditioning and flat-screen TVs. The hotel does allow pets. The maximum weight is 40 pounds. You can bring one pet per room.
